The streets of Valencia were filled with this poster (designed by the wonderful Spanish illustrator Isidro Ferrer) for the Mostra Film Festival in September 2019

The starting point for this collage was the beautiful Spanish wine label

This results in a small amount of cropping (about 1cm or 4/10”) from the top and bottom of the original image

Oxley MCM The streets of Valencia wereThis 3D collage has incorporated the colours of an Edwardian drawing room, complete with hunting scene and ticking clock. Copperplate script and 'Oxley' spelt out in mosaic tiles on a doorstep evoke the past, while the multi levelled composition, with its glimpses of typographic detail and paint splodges give it a contemporary twist.
