The garnet wine reveals a strong nose that delicately opens up on blackberry, blueberry, tar notes and graphite aromas. The wine is extremely fruity, making it very seductive. The 2015 Le Petit Lion du Marquis Las Cases offers a medium bodied palate with rather firm tannins. Notes of graphite echo the nose and reinforce the typical character of the Saint Julien wines.
