Its generous size makes it perfect for everything from grinding spices and nuts to crushing fresh herbs and preparing pastes and pestos. The cast iron features a rough textured surface to facilitate grinding. Mortar measures 15. 5cm in diameter x 9cm in height and has a capacity of 750ml. Pestle measures 19cm in length.
