When painting this, representational floral, I was feeling a bit nostalgic and homesick. Reminded of a warm summer day in the south when the azalea's bloom like crazy, in all their beautiful hues of white, cream, soft blue, purple & pinks. It was during this time that I decided to invest in me and began a mentorship with a well respected
