I used photo reference for Tahoma itself but I invented the landscape around it completely

I didn’t start with a sketch but just worked it out on the canvas

It was hard to pull away from its gravity but eventually I broke free and continued on my way to the park…

We were quite a ways down the dirt road from them and we could still hear them in the morning
