Tam-Tam Stool - Yellow Color:Yellow The beveled-edge tabletop is madeMoMA Exclusive: A pop icon of French design, the Tam Tam Stool was designed by Henry Masonnet in 1968 who was an amateur fisherman. He designed the hourglass shaped, hollow stool for himself because its extremely lightweight design makes it easy to carry around. The stool's shape is inspired by a drum: in French "tam tam" refers to a tambour africain, or tom tom drum. The Tam Tam Stool quickly became a best seller and 1960s icon after a photo of
