Unlike most clear rums, Don Q uses a multiple distillation system to produce a cleaner, more refined and more delicate flavour profile. This has been aged between 18 months and 5 years in American white oak barrels to impart a touch more smoothness. So smooth in fact that you can substitute Cristal in a cocktail that uses Vodka you would be hard pushed to tell the difference.
