The title comes from the song Manhattan, which Blossom Dearie sang so endearingly on her 1958 Verve album, Once Upon a Summertime. This little maquette was created on a cardboard base, with an acid free white background and raised paper elements (cut paint chips), all measuring 10. 5 x 5. 5. This will be mounted on an acid free illustration board measuring 12.
