One evening I headed towards the area to photograph with another photographer and even though it was a moon lit evening noticed the contrast between the mast and cables with the dark evening sky

The NFL Playoffs were in full swing with the Denver Broncos getting ready to host the AFC Championship game

One challenge was finding the right position which didn't put me right in the middle of a road near the park

After photographing around the lake I made my way to this area at dusk and spent some time in a new location at Washington Park

Working with a longer shutter exposure to soften the water motion I focused on the island while protecting the lens from some of the rain which was falling

Morning at Sloans Lake in Denver Size:24"x36" One evening I headed towardsIn March of 2013 after a Saturday snowstorm I headed to Sloans Lake in Denver to photograph at sunrise. When I got to the lake in below freezing temperatures the steam was rising from the lake. Positioning myself for sunrise I wait to the morning light to pick up more of this steam with the City of Denver in the background from just west of downtown.
