One of the items to watch while photographing in the snow is where you are walking as the trail you make could end up being in the next picture you want to take

This morning there was a system which was moving through which prevented a colorful sunrise as we have had the past couple of years

Using a shallow depth of field I focused on the brick post and let the lines lead to the color in the background

After spending some time at the location I thought of some new ideas to photograph in the area and will be back in the upcoming weeks to try those ideas out with my camera

Christmas in Denver Size:8"x10" One of the items toAs the snow started to fall on Christmas Eve, I headed out to capture the season with some fresh snow in Denver. Making multiple stops on that evening I ended up at the Daniels & Fisher Tower along the 16th Street Mall and positioned myself in a location to capture the lighted tree as fresh snow continued to fall in the city.
