The blade is forged stainless steel with Pikas Spade insignia, and an overall length of 15 1 4". Friedr Herder Abr Sohn company is the longest continually operating knife making operation in Solingen Germany. Its famous Pikas spade logo was registered in 1727 although their place in Solingens blade making traces further back.
