Elegant Antique French Tortoise Shell Minaudière, Evening and Makeup Purse with Suede Scabbard antique hand carved frame The canvas is excellentThe last of my collection of early 1900s to perhaps c. 1925 French minaudire, make up purse, evening bag created to hold a lady's powder, lipstick, a comb, mirror and a celluloid note panel (this one has shrunken with age and is out of its holder). Rarer to find one of these with the original black suede scabbard that makes it a purse. Full measurements are noted on the photos. Very good to excellent condition for age and type, the only notable
